The Beautiful World is Kuroboshi Kouhaku's first artbook and currently his only, unless you count the second visual novel as a mini-artbook or the numerous self-produced doujinshi booklets. It was published in 4.10.2003 and retails for 2800 yen. The ISBN is 4-8402-2296-7. The book contains xx pages.
The Beautiful World is split into several major sections. The first part of the artbook is devoted to Kino no Tabi and includes lots of text-free illustrations from the first six novels, the DVDs, and promotional materials like telephone cards, shitajiki, etc. Although the artbook is full-color, most of the black-and-white artwork that is used to illustrate the interior of the novels is also included.
The second part of the artbook is devoted to Allison, the other major novel series that Sigsawa has written and Kuroboshi has illustrated, also published in Dengeki HP. It is mostly filled with novel illustrations (color and black-and-white) as there aren't a lot of promotional materials for this series compared to Kino.
The last part of the artbook is for Kuroboshi's original illustrations. These range from his fanart from various series to original characters and settings. There are both large pictures with full scenery to little character snippets.
The last part of the book contains information about each piece of artwork, including filesize (in Photoshop) for anyone who likes to keep track of those sorts of things.
