PS 2 Game

If you can't get enough of the Kino novels, then the PS2 game, released 7/2003, is just for you. It is called a "visual novel" in that you read the story accompanied by music and illustrations by Kuroboshi. Most of the stories in the visual novel mode come from various chapters of the book and there is also an "interactive story" mode which I assume is along the lines of choose-your-own-adventure. To play the game you will need a PS2 capable of playing Japanese games. There are extras included with the game including voice acting by Maeda Ai and Ryuji Aigase (Kino and Hermes), an original story, and a 44-page booklet including the original story plus new illustrations by Kuroboshi.
