Name: Keiichi Sigsawa (Žž‰J‘òŒbˆê)
Born: 1972 (He is rather vague on this point in the novel bios, going so far as to say "Born in 1972. Born in 1969 and also in 1974... Well, you don't have to believe me. You decide.")
Sex: Male
Keiichi Sigsawa is the author of Kino no Tabi. He got is debut in 2000's Dengeki Bunkou with the story, and continues to write it currently. He has also written two volumes of another story called Allison, also illustrated by Kuroboshi. Sigsawa also wrote the lyrics to Kino's ending song, The Beautiful World as well as a number of short stories included as bonus story cards in the Japanese DVD release (and translated into English and included in ADV's release.)
Dengeki HP volume 25 included a several page interview with Sigsawa. Perhaps one day if I should find it again and on sale, I will buy it to learn more about the author.
